The Bible calls us to praise

Does GOD need our praise?  I believe no.  For GOD is still GOD no matter what.

Why then should we praise?

First, because it is a command.  It says in the Bible, "Come within his gates giving thanks, to his courts singing praise, give thanks to Him and bless His name!" (Psalm 100:4)

Second, GOD is enthroned in our praises.  He loves our praises. He is so pleased with our praises that He literally surrounds Himself with and bathes in our praises (2 Chronicles 5:13-14)

Third, we were created to praise.  The Bible says, "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of His own, so that you may announce the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light."  (1Peter 2:9)

We are called to worship Him -- for He is worthy of praise.

So wherever you are, whatever you do, whoever you are, let us all give praise to our one and only GOD! Amen! Alleluia! Amen!
